Subject: Not allowing me to help the falsely arrested innocent person naming Sh. Pawan Kumar Gupta

Today, dated 21/02/2008 timing near about 11:00 am, I received a call from Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta who was arrested by Vikas Puri Police officials on the accusation of his wife Mrs. Puja of beating her. We were not aware of the actual matter that took place at the residence of Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta.

On reaching the Vikas Puri PS, Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta was not there as he was sent for a medical by Vikas Puri PS. His wife Mrs. Puja and her family started abusing and fighting with Mr. Rajneesh Bansal who went there along with me. She and her family started blaiming Mr. Bansal as why he has come here to help Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta and in what authority. In front of the police officials Mrs. Puja and her family used very abrupt language for Mr. Bansal’s sister Nitasha who is sister-in-law of Mrs. Puja and a dowry harassment and Domestic Violence case is pending over Mrs. Puja and her family.

The main intention of Mrs. Puja and her family was to get Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta arrested and let him alone so that no body should remain there to help him. I would also like to mention that Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta is helping Mr. Bansal to get her sister justice.

The attitude of Vikas Puri PS was not at all helping as our only intention was to help Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta but still they did not allow us to stay there and meet Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta. They didn’t even ask Mrs. Puja and her family to behave properly and allowed us to stay there rather they threw us out of Vikas Puri PS. At the last we want to ask you whether it is a crime to help an innocent person who is falsely charged and arrested (According to Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta)
